The Corners is a non-denominational church and is a member of WCA (Willow Creek Association) and is not associated with any “denomination.”

2. What does The Corners believe?

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God. We believe that Jesus Christ is the Savior and Lord of life and that His death on the cross was the payment for humanities sins. We believe His resurrection guarantees fulfilling life now and a home in eternity.

3. What makes The Corners distinctive?

The Corners is a grace oriented congregation that believes people need a strong message of love, acceptance and forgiveness. We believe the gospel begins by giving people respect and dignity. We offer a passionate worship service and teaching that is relevant and innovative as it speaks to the needs of everyday living. Our church is a friendly church that believes in authentic relationships and offers our guests a genuine place to belong.

4. When did The Corners begin?

The Corners (formerly Metro Family Church) began in Plano, Texas, November 1991 in Pastor Randy and Nancy's home. From there, the church has met in a hotel, a school, a leased facility at 15th Street and Custer Road, and a purchased facility at the corner of Parker Road and Custer Road before moving to our current location on State Hwy. 121 in May of 2005.

5. Where is The Corners located?

The Corners is located at State Hwy. 121 and Custer Road, just on the cusp of Plano. We are in the SW quadrant of Custer & Hwy. 121.

6. When are your services?

We have two Sunday morning services: 9:00AM and 10:45AM. Also, on Wednesday evenings, we would like to invite you to join us for a special mid-week service at 7:00PM with incredible programs and ministries for adults, children, and students!

7. How should I dress?

Just be yourself, and please be comfortable! Come casual, or dress up. People wear anything from shorts and jeans to dresses and sport coats.

8. Is there a class for GUESTS or NEW MEMBERS?

Membership Class is a two-session, orientation class for guests and people interested in church membership in order to become more informed about our church family. In this class, you will learn about our beliefs, our ministries, and opportunities for you to be involved. This fun and informative class is a "must" for everyone wishing to become a member.

9. How do I get plugged in at The Corners?

Without a doubt, the best way to build relationships with other people at The Corners is through our LifeGroups on Sunday mornings and throughout the week. These classes are defined by age and stage of life. We realize that making a personal connection can’t happen during the Sunday services alone, so we offer many options for finding a small group of people where you can connect with others who share a common interest through our LifeGroups ministry.

10. Where do my children go?

At The Corners, we believe that children are our highest priority. We believe we have a wonderful program for our kids called KIDS CORNER. While the parents are enjoying the service, the kids are learning about God at their level in a creative environment with trained staff. We have quality childcare, birth through 6th grade, for all services. Each classroom is clearly marked with the age group specified to right or left above the door.
